What’s in store for 2024

This year, I am recommitting myself to my creativity & letting my intuition take the drivers seat…literally! My loves Cody, Otis & I are leaving upstate NY on January 20th to journey out West to Tucson, AZ. First, we’re headed South to chase some sunshine, visit family, friends & explore new horizons! I had no idea how hard I was working in 2023 to prepare myself for 2024, but somehow it aligned & even though it’s an adventure full of uncertainly, I feel ready for it. The plan is loose & we are making it up as we go along. I created my business around the idea of traveling, so I hope to pop-up shop in different states, enter into a few art local shows, make jewelry along the water somewhere & get inspired by the beauty of nature. Cody is a tattoo artist, a painter & a maker himself! He’s invested in portable tattoo gear so he create on the go or do guest spots at local tattoo shops. He’s also planning to learn the jewelry trade & aspires to make tattoo inspired jewelry pieces. We plan to collaborate with the trailer at certain events or maybe host one of our own! Whatever happens, we’re doing it together with the spirit of adventure guiding our path towards making our artistic dreams a reality. ✨

What’s already happened:

Thank you to

Devin, Brian & Wyatt for helping us with this task!

  • I finished my last customs of 2023 & will not be taking any new orders until we settle in Tucson, AZ (date TBD)

  • Cody sold his car & moved into my tiny house to save money

  • We modified the trailer to bring Cody’s motorcycle with us

  • We bought an actual map & circled places we want to explore

  • Researched places to pop-up, vend at or guest spot

  • Serviced my trailer & truck

I ordered the ARE extended roof version with a roof rack from

What’s happening now:

  • We received the cap for my truck & are building out the back to use as our home base

  • We are getting in touch with friends & family that we know around the US! Please feel free to reach out if you want to connect along the journey 😊 @buffalobannon (fb/insta) or buffalobannon@gmail.com

  • We’re raising money for our gas fund & lightening the load by having a Going Away Art Sale at Springbrook’s Grand Reopening Party on January 19th! Stop by to say hello/goodbye, check out the new digs & take home a unique piece of art with a cocktail on the side

What’s next:

Two artists meet & start traveling/selling their art together

Would you watch that YouTube channel? Comment below!

  • Cleaning out the trailer & repacking it to suit the trips travel needs

  • Organizing my home studio so it’s all set & ready for our return

  • Intentionally packing the truck with all our travel gear

  • Packing our clothes into a medium size bin…this will be HARD one for me

  • Practice driving the entire rig before setting off into the sunset

Transitions can feel scary because you’re moving away from a comfortable zone, into the great unknown & it can stir up big emotions! I’ve been experiencing a wide array of feelings from ecstatic excitement to overwhelming fear. Doing things differently feels strange at first, especially if you’ve never done it before. Forming new habits & thought patterns takes time, patience. However, I know that I best learn about life through experimentation & I know for certain that if I don’t take the chance to show myself what designing life exactly the way I want looks/feels like, the fear of not knowing would eat me alive. Fears show you what you need to lean into. What needs a little more attention & grace. Fears are trying to shield your precious ego from getting hurt, bruised or tempered with in some way. But don’t let them limit you or make your decisions!! No matter how loud that voice gets. Acknowledge that it’s there, embrace it, let it pass through you, breath & let it go. Trust that your body knows the way & will always tell you what’s right. Trust yourself enough to follow it. Walk that wild, dangerous & radical path of loving yourself unconditionally. You may not know the final destination, but the adventure will move you closer to it & who knows…it might just be the best thing thats ever happened to you!
